Under the request of Shanghai’s EXPO 2010 organization was developed a project of transformation of a cargo boat into a travelling one promoting EXPO’s themes and events (better city, better life). The considerations and the research analyzed together with EXPO’s events bureau helped in the production of promotional material and to identify the most appropriate and innovative tools to promote the interrelated activities.
Inside the cargo-boat will be located a series of structures for hosting, entertaining and information, each of them defined by architectural and technological futuristic solutions.
A large “plaza” dedicated to events and populated by info and experience points, a 5 stars hotel, a tea pavilion, a food hall, a covered theatre, gardens and a tower containing a expo multi-sensorial model.
