The unusual choice of engaging an Architect like Antonio Gardoni to design a library.
Accustomed to the projects of London’s Jump Studios, almost invariably linked to the world of fashion, Gardoni has gone against the mainstream by choosing for his project a homely atmosphere that pervades the whole environment, merging design elements that more closely resemble those seen in a home than in a public place like a library.
Soft and coloured pieces design the different areas in this ambience and orange becomes the metaphor for transferring thoughts and information, almost like a hot flux that accompanies you during one of the most intimate rituals of our daily lives: reading.
