In a thirty’s FIAT car showroom and garage is located CASACHIC furniture and home accessories shop.
The space hosting “Casachic” amazes for its dimensions and proportions, a large semicircular salon with a twelve meter high half dome ceiling with a long skylight window and at the side a lover gallery space with “out of scale” windows facing the main road.
The project includes few and well balanced elements “celebrating” the peculiar nature of the existing industrial space and emphasizing the products on sale.
The entrance area is occupied by a counter, pure and glossy colour volume, placed in front of a background wall of white fabric and light.
In the tall central space two new black iron platform are the base for two tower elements with mirrored niches and supporting at the top the lighting system not interfering with the continuous curved space.
Trough the space are placed some pivoting large panels covered with fabric and lighting inside, like light-boxes, working like background for the exhibited furniture pieces and making the showroom arrangement flexible and easy to change time by time.
